While we continue to update our web content, wel'll be rotating the imagery on a this landing page to commemorate the individuals identified in the Robert "Lucky" Johns Slide Archive. This 12,197 image collection, donated to the PQHP by Lucky in 2013, records a bygone era of nascent lesbian and gay culture born and bred in Pittsburgh. Today we want to honor Frankie Kizzie. A House of Tilden socialite and event producer who is responsible for much of the entertainment at the Tilden, Pegasus, Zacks, 2001 Club, and others. Below you'll find photographs of Kizzie, with her siganture suits and hats, as well as a rare piece of footage in which Kizzie takes the stage. Appropriate to this season, Kizzie croons, "Summer time" to the crowd at Pegasus back in 1984.
