Description

Poster for The Five and Swollen Monkeys performing at The Pyramid Club in New York City. The background is a profile shot of bejwelled women kissing, the woman on the right wearing a tiara. The top of the poster reads, "Fri. 31 Dec." Below the date and above the women is a silk banner reading, "Midnite Pageant."

Blocking out the two women's mouths is a explosion star shape with the word "Rough" overlaid. Over the shoulder of the woman on the right is a circle with, "The Five," inside. On her upper arm is the club's address, written sideways, "Pyramid, 101 Ave A." On the left woman's shoulder is an oval reading, "Swollen Monkeys."

On the backside of the poster is a handwritten note, saying, "Here's Motrin. First stopping at Roosevelt Hospital to look for you, 59th St., then going to the Rialto Theatre, Broadway at 42st. 777-9751"
