Big News: we are actually signing an album deal with a great guy! The album (that we've been talking about almost forever!) will be coming out on ou down Get Hip records, and will be pressed and distributed by Skyclad Records from New Jersey, a relatively new label from which you'll be hearing (other) great things in the future.
Other big news is that our show in Hoboken with the Chesterfield Kings went really well, and we're hoping to get them to come to Pittsburgh sometime soon. They were really nice people and put on a GREAT show. They announced that their third album should be out in a week or so.
Here's this month's list of shows:
January 28- The Cynics at the Decade
January 31- The Dead Boys, the Infidels and the Cynics. 2 shows, one all-age (7:45 PM) and one over-21 (10:45 PM) at Graffiti. $10.50 in advance, $12.50 at the door.
February 7- The New Salem Witch Hunters, the Little Wretches, and the Cynics at Electric Banana.
February 13- Same bands as above at the Phantasy Club in Cleveland.
We're hoping to bring bands such as The Mystic Eyes, The Lyres, The Hysteric Narcotics and The Splat Cats to Pittsburgh soon. We'll let you know!"
